Purpose of the Position:
§ To Plan, develop and execute social media content aimed at increasing community retention, engagement and conversion to align with marketing strategies, as prescribed by the Social Media Manager
Key Performance Objectives
Operational Delivery
§ Identify tactical social media content opportunities
§ Manage platforms relevant to the designated region(s)
§ Respond to comments, customer queries and complaints in a timely manner as per the Social Media Manager’s recommendations
§ Monitor social media and identify trends in conversation
§ Escalate trends relevant to the brand to the correct stakeholders through the identified escalation process
§ Ensure brand consistency throughout all interactions and created content
§ Follow up to ensure loops have been closed with customer queries and complaints
§ Analyze social media content and determine efficacy and areas for improvement
§ Identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency of all social media activity.


Reporting & Stakeholder Management

§ Report on social activity on a bi-weekly, as well as monthly basis
§ Build relationships with customers (both potential and existing), industry professionals and journalists
§ Build and maintain close relationships with relevant market teams to understand local trends and customer nuances
Qualifications Essentials:
§ A diploma/degree in marketing, PR, journalism or related field
§ 3-5 years of social media management experience
§ Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, HubSpot or any related social media management tools
§ Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Analytics
§ Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
§ Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
§ Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms
§ Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audiences
