This role requires a highly diligent and confident candidate with substantial management experience. The position holder will be accountable for the public perception of the
organisation. S/he will oversee the creation of promotional and informative materials the organisation will send to the public. The position holder will also be involved with internal communications in the organisation. S/he will work with all forms of media, including press releases and digital campaigns, print materials, social media, audio and video and more.
Responsibilities

- Projecting a positive image of the organisation to the public.
- Manage media relations
- Ensure the organisation has an engaging social media footprint
- Manage a communications budget.
- Ensure quality control of all information released.
Requirement and Skills
- Teamwork and the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Awareness of and proficiency with communications technologies.
- Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills
- The creativity to produce exciting and interesting content
- Experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Clear and concise communication with team members and senior management.
- Strong and confident leadership
- A first degree in a relevant field of study. MBA or advanced degree in communications, Marketing or related field will be an added advantage.
