An Overview of the Role
We are looking for an experienced and competent
Copywriter to lead our Copy team. This individual will be responsible for leading a group of copywriters while demonstrating exceptional writing abilities and great attention to detail.

As a team lead, the individual will also have the
responsibility of inspiring direct reports while being committed to their growth and development.

  • Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the Copy team by providing clear direction and managing the delivery of client projects.
  • Mentor and Coach younger copy team members as part of career development.
  • Research relevant industry topics to identify new content.
  •  Edit and fact-check content created by Junior Copywriters
  • Produce creative thought leadership in the creation of high-quality broadcast and print, as well as experiential, environmental, and digital design
  • Develop, create and launch brands
    Evaluate marketing and campaign strategies
  • Collaborate with Designers to develop visuals
  • Liaise with Account Managers to ensure each project is in accordance with the briefing, is clearly outlined, and estimated
  • Review all Copy creations and make suggestions when needed.
  • Suggest the best practice to be adopted by the management team
  • Come up with creative thinking during brainstorming sessions, and project kick-off meetings
  • Adhere to internal processes, budgets, and timelines for each project
  • Guide, influence, and motivate others with thought-provoking ideas and recommendations
  • Assist in the supervision of the creative department to promote an inspiring atmosphere and desirable workflow
    to achieve the best work
  • Works with other creative departments to visually convey a particular message, idea, or concept

Minimum of 6 years working experience as a Copywriter
Ability to work under little or no supervision
Proven ability to lead a team of creative talent
Strong creative vision with an understanding of
business objectives
Team player with strong communication and
presentation skills
Exceptional writing and editing abilities
Strong project management skills
