This week, we had the pleasure of hosting relationship content creator, social media manager, and product marketing specialist Elizabeth Ogunseye, popularly known as “Sisilizzzy”.
ADMARP : Did you choose marketing, or marketing chose you?
Elizabeth: I would say I was introduced to marketing by my brother and I decided to follow the path since I love it, so let’s say I chose marketing; from starting out as an influencer on social media for brands, to really wanting to know more about the whole marketing field. And I’m grateful to my brother for putting me on and still being there when I need help.
ADMARP: What is your greatest weakness?
Elizabeth: Procrastination and fear. I feel like I’m always scared to do things I know I can do. Although, I eventually always do it but before I do it, I always have doubts if it’ll go well or not. I’m working on that part of me anyways.
ADMARP: What is the idea of you people have that is quite contrary to who you really are?
Elizabeth: When I say I’m shy, everyone turns and looks like “really Elizabeth? Can’t be you” but the truth is I’m a shy person. I only get to loosen up with people I’m comfortable with. And another one is people think I’m an “outsider”. Most times it’s just brand events and weddings
ADMARP: What can you describe as the most groundbreaking moment/period in your career journey?
Elizabeth: I’d say 2020. That was the year I felt very proud of myself and I know there’s still more groundbreaking moments ahead of me! I look forward to it.
ADMARP: What is your favorite food?
Elizabeth: I don’t have a favorite food.
ADMARP: What food do you think is the most overrated?
Elizabeth: EBA. I really wonder why people even eat it.
ADMARP: Tell us something, an unpopular opinion about marketing that you think people should embrace more?
Elizabeth: Marketing isn’t money rituals, don’t expect the result immediately, I mean you have to invest to get the desired result.
ADMARP: If you weren’t a marketing expert, what would you have done differently in life?
Elizabeth: I love to speak, and really I’ll still focus more on that aspect of my life. I love acting too.
